Oben Electric has launched the Rorr EZ Sigma electric motorcycle with two battery options. At an introductory price of INR 1.27 lakh ( all prices ex-showroom), the 3.4 kWh variant delivers a claimed IDC range of 140 km, while the higher-spec 4.4 kWh variant promises up to 175 km for INR 1.37 lakh.
The electric motorcycle delivers a peak motor output of 7.5 kW and torque of 286 Nm on wheel with a top speed of 95 kmph. Riders can switch between three drive modes, Eco, City, and Havoc, tailoring power delivery to either conserve range or unleash full performance. The new model claims to be better optimised across use cases while maintaining high agility with its compact ARX frame and low weight.
Practical additions include a reverse mode, dual USB ports with built-in storage and under-seat space. The smart 5-inch TFT display offers Bluetooth-based navigation, call and message alerts, music notifications, and remote diagnostics. Safety has also been enhanced with features like Unified Brake Assist, Driver Alert System, geo-fencing-based theft protection, and the brand’s patented vandalism safeguard system.
Both battery variants use LFP cells housed in IP67-rated die-cast aluminium casings. The fast-charging capability allows a 0 to 80 percent top-up in under two hours, while full charging through a standard charger takes up to seven hours depending on the variant. The higher-capacity battery version weighs five kilograms more and offers 35 km of additional range in the Eco mode. Ground clearance is 200 mm and water wading depth is rated at 230 mm, highlighting urban and semi-rural usability.
Oben Electric also introduces its tiered warranty structure offering customers up to eight years or 80,000 km of battery protection under select plans. Standard coverage for the battery and motor is three years or 40,000 km and extended support under the Oben Protect package includes components like the chassis and controller. The company has retained the tyre size and suspension hardware from the previous model.
