PURE has entered into a strategic partnership with Charge Power Inc to export its PuREPower product range to the United States and Canada. This move marks PURE’s first foray into North America’s rapidly expanding energy storage market and reflects the company’s ambition to scale globally while focusing on long-term technology ownership.
Through this alliance, PURE will co-brand its energy storage solutions with Charge Power, aiming to serve grid-scale needs in the US and both grid and commercial and industrial (C&I) applications in Canada. The North American rollout will include PURE’s PuREPower line, which combines high energy density lithium-ion batteries with fifth-generation power electronics and a cloud-based AI management platform. The system also features multi-level thermal management that includes nano-phase change material cooling at cell level and liquid cooling for battery packs and racks, designed to ensure high efficiency, longer life and improved safety standards.
Dr Nishanth Dongari, Founder and Managing Director, PURE, noted that the partnership follows years of product refinement and real-world testing across residential and industrial installations in India. Emphasising the strength of the new alliance, he said Charge Power brings critical execution and customer access capabilities, having delivered over 4 GWh of projects across North America. PURE will retain all intellectual property rights, maintaining control over its proprietary technologies as it expands internationally.
Ravi Pinnelli, Managing Director, Charge Power Inc, mentioned that the synergy between the two companies, describing PURE’s technology as a natural fit for the North American market. Charge Power, he added, will bring its system integration and lifecycle management experience to ensure deployment across a wide range of applications, backed by local market understanding and established customer networks.
