Range Rover has launched the new Velar Autobiography in India, introducing a fresh layer of modern luxury and technological innovation to the mid-size luxury SUV segment. Priced at ₹89.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the Autobiography sits atop the Velar lineup, further enhancing the SUV's premium appeal.
The Velar Autobiography is available with two advanced powertrains – a 2.0L P250 petrol engine producing 183.9 kW and 365 Nm of torque, and a 2.0L D200 mild-hybrid diesel delivering 150 kW and 430 Nm of torque. Both variants are engineered for refined performance across India’s diverse driving conditions.
Visually, the Velar Autobiography stands out with signature design elements like flush door handles, Pixel LED headlights with DRLs, a floating roof, and a contrasting black roof. The exterior is further complemented by 20-inch Satin Dark Grey alloys and subtle Burnished Copper accents, reflecting the SUV’s sophisticated character.
Inside, the cabin is a sanctuary of contemporary luxury. Highlights include 20-way heated and ventilated massage seats in Full Extended Windsor Leather, Suedecloth headlining, Shadow Grey Ash veneer, and a sliding panoramic roof. Rear passengers benefit from power-recline seats, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, and Cabin Air Purification Plus for added comfort.
The Velar Autobiography also packs Range Rover’s latest suite of technologies. Key features include Terrain Response 2, Wade Sensing, Electronic Air Suspension, Adaptive Dynamics, and a 3D Surround Camera system—making it as capable as it is comfortable.
