Routematic has raised $40 million in a Series C funding round led by Fullerton Carbon Action Fund and Shift4Good. The announcement marks a significant milestone in India’s urban mobility landscape as the company prepares to scale its electric fleet and intelligent commute infrastructure across major cities. With services currently offered to over 300 corporates in 23 cities and handling over five million trips a month, Routematic’s model reflects an emerging trend of combining digital tools with environmental goals in enterprise mobility.
The company is planning to expand its fleet to more than 10,000 vehicles by March 2026. Notably, 30 percent of this fleet is set to be electric, reflecting Routematic’s alignment with the sustainability objectives of its enterprise clients. The firm’s AI-based software-as-a-service platform already automates routing, vehicle allocation and ride monitoring, and will now be complemented by city-level command centres to improve real-time responsiveness and cost efficiency.
Sriram Kannan, Founder and CEO, Routematic, noted that the funding would help the company address growing demand while maintaining a focus on sustainability. Co-founder and Executive Director, Kavitha Ramachandragowda, added that AI and operational innovation would remain central to Routematic’s scaling ambitions.
