Royal Enfield, the global leader in mid-size motorcycles, has unveiled the Conscious Collection, a sustainability-driven apparel line inspired by its Green Pursuit initiative.
Crafted with a deep respect for nature, the Conscious Collection features garments made from recycled cotton, organic fabrics, Himalayan grass fibre, and natural dyes. Earthy tones and sustainable design elements—right down to reusable packaging and organically sourced labels—bring the brand’s ‘Ride Green. Ride Pure’ philosophy into wearable form. From material sourcing to manufacturing, the collection follows globally recognised sustainable practices.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer, Royal Enfield, said, “This is a small but meaningful step in our journey to give back to nature while staying rooted in our motorcycling ethos. With the Conscious Collection, we are embracing mindful craftsmanship—taking only what nature can renew, and turning waste into something purposeful.”
The collection includes three signature fabric compositions: a 30-70 blend of cotton and recycled cotton in single jersey knit; a 60-40 recycled cotton-polyester pique knit; and an innovative woven fabric made of 22% Himalayan Grass (HimGra) and 78% cotton. HimGra is a zero-cultivation, waterless fibre processed using patented technology that leaves a minimal carbon footprint—offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional natural fibres like hemp or bamboo.
The collection’s colour palette draws directly from nature: beige from tea leaves, green from pomegranate rind, mauve from acacia catechu, and off-white from natural bio materials. Jerseys start at INR 1,600 and are designed for both style and sustainability, encouraging riders and customers to embrace a greener lifestyle.
By repurposing plastic bottles, pre-consumer textile waste, and other discarded fibres, Royal Enfield is making a conscious effort to reduce landfill waste and pollution. With India producing approximately 9.3 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, this initiative represents a practical shift towards converting waste into eco-conscious products.
