Setco Automotive Limited, a leading manufacturer of medium and heavy commercial vehicle (MHCV) clutches, has announced its strategic entry into the suspension components segment with the launch of Load Cushion and Torque Rod Bush products.
Designed to enhance vehicle stability, shock absorption, and ride comfort, the new products are built to meet the demands of rugged operating conditions. Manufactured using high-grade rubber and robust rubber-to-metal bonding techniques, both the Load Cushion and Torque Rod Bush are engineered for long-lasting durability, ensuring value for OEMs and aftermarket customers.
The Load Cushion, a critical component in bogie suspensions of heavy commercial vehicles, trailers, and tippers, is positioned between the chassis and axle or leaf spring assembly. Setco’s version offers premium rubber elasticity, excellent compressive strength, and consistent performance over time.
The Torque Rod Bush, another essential suspension part, is designed for use in trucks, buses, and trailers. It is installed at both ends of the torque rod, linking the axle to the chassis, and serves to isolate vibrations and shocks while supporting axle articulation and driveline protection. Setco’s offering promises high dynamic load endurance and improved noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) performance.
