Spyne has announced it has onboarded over 1,500 dealerships across 47 countries and is now aiming to reach more than 4,000 dealerships globally by the end of the current financial year. The company’s announcement follows a reported 5X year-on-year growth, marking its growing influence as a deep-tech AI solutions provider in the global automotive retail space. Its rapid expansion reflects a larger shift within the used car market towards digital solutions that streamline operations and increase efficiency, particularly for small and mid-sized dealerships.
Founded with the objective of empowering dealerships with smart digital tools, Spyne offers an AI-powered platform that covers every aspect of the used car retail lifecycle. From automating pricing and inventory digitisation to enhancing lead management and visual merchandising, the company’s offerings are designed to support dealers in adapting to an increasingly digital marketplace. In many regions, particularly in India, used car dealers continue to operate with largely manual systems. Spyne’s technology presents these businesses with the opportunity to become more competitive and structured without major infrastructure investments.
The company’s platform has already found acceptance among well-known names such as Greenway Auto Group, CARS24, Motor Auction Group, Toyota, and BMW, among others. With a presence in key global markets including the US, EMEA, Southeast Asia, and Australia, Spyne is now strengthening its outbound sales function to deepen partnerships in India and abroad. This expansion is supported by a new hiring drive aimed at scaling its technical and commercial operations.
Sanjay Varnwal, CEO and Co-founder, Spyne, noted that the dynamics of the used car market are evolving quickly. “Traditional dealership models are under pressure from changing customer expectations and growing competition. Dealers need digital tools not just to survive but to thrive in today’s environment,” he said. According to him, the onboarding of 1,500 dealerships is a strong signal of the market’s readiness for transformation, and the next step is to provide AI-based solutions at scale for 4,000 dealers.
