Express Avenue Mall, one of Chennai’s largest shopping destinations, attracts an average of 35,000 visitors daily. The strategic placement of EV chargers at the mall ensures greater accessibility for EV users, allowing them to charge their vehicles while they shop or dine.

Akshit Bansal, CEO & Founder, Statiq, stated “Our collaboration with Express Avenue Mall aligns with our vision to make EV charging more accessible in locations that integrate seamlessly into people’s everyday lives. By expanding our network to high-footfall areas, we aim to encourage the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and provide a smooth, hassle-free charging experience.”

Statiq has been steadily expanding its footprint in South India, ensuring better EV accessibility in major cities and along highways. With plans to install 20,000 chargers nationwide by the end of 2025, Statiq is focusing on tier-2 cities, highways, and key tourist locations, contributing to India's ambitious transition towards electric mobility.
