The standout feature of the SBH-64 ZIP is its rear aerodynamic spoiler, which lends a sharp profile to an otherwise compact half-face design.

Steelbird Helmets has introduced the SBH-64 ZIP RF, a new half-face helmet that blends safety, comfort, and modern styling. Aimed at city commuters and casual motorcyclists, the SBH-64 ZIP is designed with attention to both form and function. While the market is often flooded with either high-cost race-style helmets or basic entry-level models with little comfort, this launch offers a more balanced choice.

The helmet is available in multiple sizes—M (580mm), L (600mm), and XL (620mm)—to suit different head shapes. With over 10 colour options, the product appeals to a wide demographic without being limited by design monotony. Priced from INR 999, the SBH-64 ZIP provides an affordable option for riders looking for a mid-tier product that does not compromise on core protective features.

The visor, made from extended polycarbonate, provides full facial coverage, which is not common in many half-face helmets. This makes it more suitable for daily commuting, offering wind protection without enclosing the rider completely. A neck pad has also been included offering extra comfort during long or frequent rides.

The Italian fabric is breathable, washable, and multi-pored, supporting long-term usage in hot and humid conditions. The quick-release buckle allows the helmet to be removed easily without hassle, especially useful in crowded urban settings where time and ease matter.

The helmet meets BIS certification standards under IS 4151:2015. The outer shell is constructed from high-impact ABS material and paired with a multi-layer EPS core for shock absorption. A rear reflector adds visibility at night or in low-light situations.
