Steelbird Helmets has launched the Vintage 3.0 series, a new open-face helmet rooted in retro motorcycling culture but tailored for today’s urban and leisure riders. Priced from INR 1299 to INR 1599 across 15 colours, the product is for riders who seek comfort and everyday usability.
Inspired by the helmet designs of the 1970s, its smooth curves, modular visor-peak mechanism and vintage-friendly accessory support, the helmet is designed for aesthetic appeal. It carries ISI (IS 4151:2015) and DOT (FMVSS 218, USA) safety ratings. The helmet features a high-impact ABS shell along with a high-density EPS liner that absorbs crash energy efficiently.
The tool-free Quick Release Mechanism allows the rider to switch between a clear visor and a classic peak without hassle. Added flexibility comes from compatibility with Steelbird’s 3-in-1 mask system, and a rear elastic strap holder enables the secure use of riding goggles. The washable cheek pads and breathable mesh liner offer day-long comfort, especially for city riders and long-distance users.
The use of a high-quality polycarbonate visor adds UV protection and scratch resistance, while a micrometric quick-release buckle rated for 225 kg enhances convenience and safety. Available in three sizes, Medium (580 mm), Large (600 mm), and Extra Large (620 mm), the Vintage 3.0 range offers a snug and secure fit across a wide user base. A palette of 15 shades including Coral Peach, Sea Blue, and Cherry Red, giving riders a chance to express their identity on the road. The top-end version with colour-matched peaks and smoked visors is priced at INR 1599.
