Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the 2025 edition of the Hayabusa now updated to meet the latest OBD-2B emission norms while retaining its high-performance credentials. The new model has been launched at an ex-showroom price of INR 16,90,000 in Delhi and is available across all Suzuki Bike Zone dealerships in the country. Along with this regulatory compliance, the model also brings visual updates in the form of three new dual-tone colour combinations.

The colour variants include Metallic Mat Steel Green with Glass Sparkle Black, Glass Sparkle Black with Metallic Mat Titanium Silver, and Metallic Mystic Silver paired with Pearl Vigor Blue. These schemes mark an aesthetic departure that still respects the aerodynamic design lineage of the GSX1300R.

The GSX1300R continues to be powered by a 1340cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The internals including lightweight pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft are designed to limit vibration and add to overall durability. It carries over technologies such as the Suzuki Ram Air Direct system which increases air intake at higher speeds and the Twin Swirl Combustion Chamber that enhances combustion efficiency. The motorcycle also retains its premium mechanical hardware including KYB inverted front forks, BATTLAX Hypersports 22 tyres and Brembo Stylema four-piston brake callipers at the front. These features are integrated to ensure high-speed stability and sharper control across varying conditions

Electronics include the Power Mode Selector, Launch Control System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System and Motion Track Traction Control which together allow for highly tailored riding experiences. Cruise control, Suzuki’s Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist are added conveniences aimed at making the machine more manageable in varied scenarios such as long-distance riding or urban traffic. The motorcycle also features full LED lighting and multiple stability control features to complement its overall package

Deepak Mutreja, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India, noted that the OBD-2B compliance does not dilute the essence of the GSX1300R but instead reinforces its place in modern motorcycling. His remarks point to the careful balancing act required to keep legacy performance machines relevant under tightening regulatory frameworks.
