Tata Motors has unveiled the new Adventure X persona for its flagship SUVs — the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari. Priced from INR 18.99 lakh for the Harrier and INR 19.99 lakh for the Safari (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new variant is positioned to offer a bold, off-road-ready experience with segment-leading features and rugged design elements.
The Adventure X brings in a comprehensive package including ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control (AT), 360° HD Surround View, Trail Response Modes (Normal, Rough, Wet), and Trail Hold EPB with Auto Hold. It also boasts the Land Rover-derived Command Shifter, a 26.03 cm Ultra-View Twin Screen System, Ergo Lux Driver Seat with memory and welcome function, Trail Sense Auto Headlamps, Aqua Sense Wipers, and multiple drive modes (City, Sport, Eco).
Built on the OMEGARC architecture derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform, both SUVs are powered by a 2.0L KRYOTEC diesel engine. The Harrier Adventure X stands out with R17 Titan Forged Alloys and Onyx Trail black-tan interiors, while the Safari Adventure X gets R18 Apex Forged Alloys and tan oak-inspired Adventure Oak interiors.
Speaking at the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., noted, “The Adventure X is positioned at a compelling price point in the segment, offering class-leading features and authentic capability.”
Tata Motors also used this opportunity to overhaul the Harrier and Safari line-ups, making them more intuitive and value-rich. A new persona structure — including Smart, Pure X, Fearless X, Accomplished X, and now Adventure X — simplifies the buying experience while catering to varying customer preferences. The Pure X variant offers enhanced features at a lower price point, broadening the appeal of the range.
