
Reinforcing its commitment to delivering advanced and reliable mobility solutions in the Middle East, Tata Motors, in collaboration with its official distributor Al Hamad Automobiles, has launched the all-new LPO 1622 bus in Qatar.
The launch signifies Tata Motors’ strategic focus on the Middle East, where its commercial vehicles have consistently delivered value across diverse applications. Powered by a Cummins ISBe 5.6L Euro VI engine, the LPO 1622 delivers 220hp and 925Nm of torque, and is available in 65- and 61-seater configurations. The bus comes equipped with advanced safety and performance features, including Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Cruise Control, and Multimode Switch, making it ideal for Qatar’s demanding operating conditions.

The LPO 1622 features a dual-circuit full air braking system with ABS, tubeless radial tyres, and a heavy-duty suspension to ensure safety and road stability. With its low total cost of ownership, robust aggregates, and ergonomic design, the LPO 1622 is positioned as a high-uptime solution for Qatar’s growing demand for efficient staff transportation.
In addition to the LPO 1622, Tata Motors also unveiled an upgraded range of Euro-V compliant Prima heavy trucks—including the Prima 4040.K, 4440.S, 4040.T, and 6040.S—designed to meet the country’s infrastructure and construction sector requirements.
