Singh had resigned from Royal Enfield after three years as Global Head, Marketing.

Tata Motors has appointed former Global Marketing Head of Royal Enfield, Shubhranshu Singh as Vice President – Marketing & International Business for its CV Business Unit effective October 14, 2021. 

According to an internal circular accessed by Mobility Outlook, Singh will be working from Mumbai at its Ahura office, and report to Executive Director & President, CVBU, Tata Motors. 

This comes just days after the appointment of Anurag Mehrotra, Former MD, Ford India as Executive Director & Head, CVBU, Tata Motors. Singh had resigned from Royal Enfield after three years as Global Head, Marketing.

 He was in charge of all aspects of brand development and marketing at Royal Enfield. Digital marketing, media management, content production, consumer and market data, corporate communications, events and community, brand equity and architecture, regional marketing, and corporate branding were all part of his portfolio.

Prior to joining RE, Singh was the Marketing Director at Visa and Diageo India, as well as the Head of Marketing, Star Sports. Earlier, he also worked as Marketing Manager, Hindustan Unilever. 

At Visa, he was in charge of brand management, communication development, activation and client marketing, market and consumer research, and media deployment and investments across the region's portfolio. 

Singh holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from BITS Ranchi and earned his master's degree in international business from India Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.
