Audi has officially taken the wraps off the third-generation Q3, its long-standing bestseller in the premium compact SUV segment. Set to go on sale in Europe this summer with deliveries beginning in October, the new Q3 brings a striking evolution in design, cutting-edge technology, and improved powertrain options—including a plug-in hybrid variant with up to 119km of electric range (WLTP).
Visually, the Q3 now sports a bolder, more emotional design language. A high-set Singleframe grille, sharply tapered headlights, and optional digital Matrix LED technology with micro-LED modules contribute to its upscale appearance and enhanced road illumination. The rear end is equally dramatic, featuring optional digital OLED taillights with a full-width LED strip and illuminated Audi rings—making their debut in the compact segment.
Inside, Audi has overhauled the cabin for a more modern user experience. New steering column levers replace the traditional gear selector and control stalks, freeing up space in the center console. Acoustic side glazing, another first for this class at Audi, boosts interior comfort at higher speeds. Practicality remains a highlight with up to 1,386 litres of cargo space, a sliding and reclining rear bench, and a towing capacity of 2,100kg.
Under the hood, the Q3 lineup begins with a 110kW (148bhp) mild-hybrid petrol engine and includes a diesel variant suited for long-distance driving. The star of the range is the Q3 e-hybrid, producing 200kW (268bhp) combined, thanks to a high-capacity 25.7kWh battery (19.7kWh usable). It supports 50kW DC charging and delivers an all-electric range of up to 119km.
Audi has also equipped the Q3 with adaptive suspension options for varying levels of ride comfort and sportiness. Advanced safety and driver assistance features such as adaptive driving assistant plus, driver drowsiness detection, trained parking assist, and reverse assist further solidify the Q3’s credentials as a digital and dynamic daily companion.
The 2025 Audi Q3 will be built at Audi’s facilities in Győr, Hungary and Ingolstadt, Germany. Prices in Germany start at EUR 44,600 for the base petrol variant, with the plug-in hybrid priced from EUR 49,300.
