Ultraviolette Automotive has announced that it has received over 60,000 bookings for its upcoming electric scooter, the Tesseract, which is scheduled to begin deliveries in the first quarter of 2026. The Tesseract was launched in March 2025 at a special introductory price of INR 1.20 lakh for the first 50,000 bookings, a target that was achieved within a month. The price has since been revised to INR 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base 3.5kWh variant.
Higher-capacity versions with 5kWh and 6kWh battery packs are in the pipeline, though variant-wise pricing and specifications will be revealed by end-2025. While the company’s website highlights features such as a 125kmph top speed, radar-based safety aids, blind-spot detecting mirrors, wireless phone charging, onboard navigation, and a smart dashcam, these are expected on the higher-spec variants. The entry-level model may miss out on some of these features, along with potentially lower performance figures.
