Uno Minda Limited, a leading global supplier of advanced automotive technology to OEMs, has announced plans to set up a new manufacturing facility for two-wheeler alloy wheels in Bawal, Haryana, with an installed capacity of 1.5 million units annually.
The project will involve a capital expenditure of around INR 200 crore, funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. The new plant is expected to commence operations by Q2 of FY 2026–27, further strengthening Uno Minda’s manufacturing footprint in India.
Simultaneously, the company has begun commercial production from its Supa, Maharashtra facility, where an expansion project adding 2 million units of annual capacity has been completed. Initially commissioned in FY21 with a greenfield facility of 4 million units, the Supa plant has now doubled to 8 million units, reflecting Uno Minda’s commitment to growth in this high-demand segment.
With the upcoming Bawal facility, Uno Minda’s total installed capacity for two-wheeler alloy wheels will scale up to approximately 9.5 million units per annum, cementing its position as a market leader.
