Volkswagen India has started deliveries of the newly launched Golf GTI across the country. The first batch of 150 units, brought in as fully imported models, has already been fully booked.
Priced at Rs. 53 lakh (ex-showroom), the Golf GTI is offered in a single, fully-loaded variant. Buyers can choose from four exterior colours: Moonstone Grey, Kings Red Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, and Oryx White.
Powering the hot hatch is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TSI petrol engine shared with the Tiguan R-Line. It delivers 261bhp and 370Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). This setup enables the GTI to accelerate from zero to 100kmph in under six seconds, offering an engaging and performance-oriented driving experience.
