Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited under the brand Joy e-bike has introduced a strategic drop in prices across six of its electric scooter models in a bid to boost demand and make EV ownership more feasible for everyday consumers.
The company has reduced prices by up to INR 13,000 across models including the WOLF 31AH, GEN NEXT 31AH, GEN NEXT NANU PLUS, WOLF PLUS, GEN NEXT NANU ECO and WOLF ECO. After the revision, the WOLF 31AH is now priced at INR 57,749, down from INR 72,000. The GEN NEXT 31AH drops to INR 56,699 from INR 70,000. The GEN NEXT NANU PLUS is now available at INR 73,604, compared to its earlier price of INR 86,000. Meanwhile, the WOLF PLUS has seen its price cut to INR 74,654 from INR 89,000. The GEN NEXT NANU ECO is reduced to INR 67,304, down from INR 75,000, and the WOLF ECO is now offered at INR 68,354 from the earlier INR 80,000.
Wardwizard’s decision reflects a broader trend in the segment where manufacturers are adjusting pricing strategies in response to both demand stagnation and competition. With central government subsidies like FAME-II gradually being phased out or revised, OEMs are seeking ways to maintain affordability while absorbing input costs. The current price revision positions Joy e-bike as a more competitive option against similarly priced petrol scooters and other low-speed EVs, especially among college students, delivery workers and urban commuters.
