Webber Electrocorp is addressing the critical area of after-sales support through a new service initiative called Webber Care Point. The platform aims to tackle the lack of EV-specific service centres that can provide consistent diagnostics, battery maintenance, and remote support. Traditional vehicle servicing models are poorly equipped to meet the nuanced needs of electric vehicles, particularly when it comes to battery health, real-time monitoring, and predictive diagnostics. Webber’s strategy directly counters this with a scalable model powered by IoT, AI, and a digital-first ecosystem.
Key to this ecosystem is Webber’s WBMS-SWLT smart Battery Management System. Designed for lithium-ion battery packs operating on 48–60V platforms, it brings safety features such as thermal runaway alerts, high-side control, and on-board logging. It also meets AIS-156 Phase II standards, offering peace of mind for both OEMs and users. Importantly, Webber positions this certified product at a competitive price point.
The platform is already operational in regions like Delhi NCR and Pune, handling over 300 service requests a month and demonstrating tangible benefits such as a 30% reduction in downtime for fleet operators. Its mobile app allows end-users to schedule services and view diagnostic reports, while OEMs are provided a backend dashboard that gives access to remote monitoring and customer engagement tools.
The Care Point service hubs are trained to handle a range of EV brands and battery types, making it an attractive solution for fleet operators, battery manufacturers, and individuals alike. Features such as predictive analytics and real-time health checks offer clear operational advantages, especially for high-usage commercial vehicles.
Webber plans to scale up through a structured three-phase expansion. By early 2026, it will launch a nationwide network of over 100 service hubs, with a focus on regions with high EV penetration and challenging terrains such as Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. A push into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities through franchising is expected to further extend the platform’s reach, supported by digital marketing and on boarding efforts to bring in over 15,000 customers.
