Maruti Suzuki India Limited has achieved a landmark milestone in after-sales service by servicing over 24.5 lakh vehicles in a single month—its highest-ever tally to date.

This achievement underscores the OEM’s continued focus on enhancing customer experience and vehicle longevity through a strong and growing service ecosystem. With more than 5,400 service touchpoints spread across metros, small towns, and remote rural areas, the company has built one of the most extensive after-sales networks in the country.

Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “This is the first time in our history that we have serviced over 24.5 lakh vehicles in a month. It reflects the scale, depth, and efficiency of our service operations. A robust service network is key to customer satisfaction and retention, and has been central to our strategy since inception.”

As part of its long-term vision, Maruti Suzuki plans to expand its service network to 8,000 touchpoints by FY 2030-31. The company is also preparing for its EV rollout by readying 1,500 EV-enabled service workshops across over 1,000 cities, with specially trained staff and equipment to support electric vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a range of innovative service formats to meet evolving customer expectations, from traditional workshops to mobile service units and a nationwide Quick Response Team (QRT) for on-road emergencies. These capabilities become particularly critical during natural calamities, ensuring uninterrupted customer support.

To further improve service delivery, the company has integrated AI-driven chatbots and voice bots while continuously upskilling its workforce in both technical and customer-handling skills. A highly localised parts ecosystem ensures quick turnaround times and affordability, strengthening Maruti Suzuki’s reputation for reliable and efficient after-sales support.
