India Yamaha Motor has introduced a 10-Year Total Warranty programme for all its made-in-India two-wheelers, a significant move that marks the company’s 40-year journey in the Indian market. The new initiative covers both scooters and motorcycles manufactured in India, offering a combined 2-Year Standard Warranty and an additional 8-Year Extended Warranty.

The coverage offers up to 1,00,000 km for hybrid scooters including the Fascino 125 Fi and Ray ZR Fi, and the Aerox 155 Version S. For motorcycles such as the R15, MT-15 and the FZ series, the warranty extends up to 1,25,000 km. Initially offered at no additional cost to customers for a limited period, Yamaha will later provide this warranty at a nominal fee, allowing ongoing access to extended support for new buyers.

The 10-Year Total Warranty is also fully transferable, which means that second-hand buyers can benefit from the same extended coverage. This not only increases the resale value of Yamaha two-wheelers but also reinforces Yamaha’s confidence in its products and manufacturing quality.
