Yamaha Launches 2025 FZ-X with Hybrid Engine and Smart Features at INR 1.49 Lakh

Yamaha has launched the 2025 FZ-X Hybrid at INR 1.49 lakh, offering better efficiency and smart features like TFT display and navigation. A standard version is also available at INR 1.29 lakh for riders preferring a conventional setup.

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has launched the 2025 FZ-X equipped with its advanced Hybrid Engine Technology, priced at INR 1,49,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This marks the debut of Yamaha’s hybrid tech in the neo-retro FZ-X lineup, following its earlier success in the FZ-S Fi Hybrid.

The new FZ-X Hybrid gets Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop & Start System (SSS), offering battery-assisted acceleration, quieter starts, and improved fuel efficiency. The bike also features a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity via the Y-Connect app, and Turn-by-Turn navigation powered by Google Maps.

Also on offer is the standard, non-hybrid FZ-X variant priced at INR 1,29,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), available in Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black. Both versions are powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 12.4 PS and 13.3 Nm. Additional features include Traction Control System (TCS), single-channel ABS, and a comfort-focused suspension setup.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Itaru Otani, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, said the hybrid FZ-X aims to combine practicality with premium appeal, aligning with evolving customer expectations.
