ZELIO E Mobility has announced a two-year comprehensive warranty across its entire range of electric vehicles, covering both two-wheeler scooters and three-wheeler e-rickshaws. The new warranty policy, which applies to all purchases from 1 April 2025, reflects the company’s growing confidence in the durability of its products and marks a shift towards more structured after-sales support in the electric mobility space.
In the case of e-rickshaws, the chassis of the Tanga Butterfly and Tanga SS models is also included. Notably, the warranty carries no mileage limit and is offered as a standard feature, not a promotional incentive, meaning all customers benefit equally regardless of usage patterns.
The decision is also designed to support customers in rural and semi-urban regions, where vehicles often endure tougher road and usage conditions. This aligns with the brand’s strategic focus on both urban and last-mile transport markets.
The warranty comes with a paperless claim system that requires customers only to return the faulty part, with replacements dispatched within three working days. The coverage is also transferable to new owners, adding residual value to the vehicles during resale. Service claims can be processed through ZELIO’s network of over 400 authorised dealerships and workshops across the country, with a planned expansion to 1,000 centres by the end of the year.
