Dr Ranjana Bansal, MD, Ashok Group of Companies – one of Tata Motors’ largest dealers in the country – took over the auto dealership business, when she lost her brother and sister-in-law in a major car accident in 1989. While she continued to practice medicine, Dr Bansal gradually spread wings in the dealership business as well, expanding the business across large parts of western Uttar Pradesh.
