Bajaj Auto has been quite busy updating the Pulsar motorcycle range in recent times. Following the launch of the updated Pulsar N250, the company has now begun rolling out upgrades for the Pulsar 220F. This model of the Pulsar has been around for years and still sells in good numbers which is one of the reasons why Bajaj has given it updates for this year. So, what’s new?

In terms of design, the body panels are the same as on the 2023 bike. What has changed are the graphics on the bike, that have become bigger and bolder. The bike in the images has a predominantly black colour over which are red graphics that add visual contrast. The Pulsar 220F still looks handsome, despite the age.

The features list has also been updated. As is the case with almost every Bajaj Pulsar on sale, the 220F also gets a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity. This allows one to pair their smartphone using a dedicated app and view incoming call and SMS notifications as well as navigation guidance. The switchgear on the bike has been updated to enable scroll through the menus on the new display. Also, there’s a nifty phone charger, in keeping with the requirements of today’s “connected” world.

The Pulsar 220F is powered by a 220cc, air/oil-cooled motor that makes 20.11bhp at 8,500rpm and 18.55Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
