Hero Lectro Launches Muv-E mobility outlook

Hero Lectro, a subsidiary of Firefox Bikes Ltd, today announced the launch of the Muv-E, a cargo e-cycle designed to enhance last-mile delivery operations. The Muv-E, available in a black variant, is equipped with robust features tailored for efficiency and practicality in urban delivery settings. It boasts a significant total load capacity of 120 kg, including the rider, with a front basket capable of holding up to 10 kg and a rear carrier designed for up to 25 kg. This makes the Muv-E ideal for transporting various types of cargo efficiently across city landscapes.

Key features of the Muv-E include a detachable 14.5 AH battery providing up to 70 km range with pedal assist, and a quick charge time of just 8 hours, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity for delivery personnel. Notably, the e-cycle also features a mobile charging option, allowing riders to charge their devices on-the-go, a boon for busy delivery schedules.

Sriram Sundresan, CEO of Firefox Bikes, emphasised the strategic vision behind the Muv-E, stating, 'The Muv-E is more than just a vehicle; it’s a pivotal step towards transforming urban mobility. With its remarkable efficiency and minimal operational costs, this e-cycle stands out as a sustainable solution, promising to significantly reduce carbon emissions in urban areas.'

Safety is paramount in the design of the Muv-E, which includes a key ignition system, a high-power 40 LUX front light for enhanced night-time visibility, and anti-skid pedals with reflectors that adhere to safety norms. Additionally, the model is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano gear system that facilitates smooth gear transitions, an 80 mm travel suspension, and a 26-inch alloy unisex frame, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride for all users.

The economic advantages of the Muv-E are clear, as it operates at the cost of only one rupee per 14 kilometres, offering substantial savings over traditional delivery vehicles. Furthermore, its maintenance costs are negligible when compared to motorised two-wheelers, making it a cost-effective option for delivery businesses.
