Hero MotoCorp has announced the commencement of deliveries of the Mavrick 440 in India. The Mavrick 440 is Hero's biggest, most powerful motorcycle yet and the first few units were delivered by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman - Hero MotoCorp.

The Hero Mavrick 440 was launched in India in February 2024, but the manufacturer has taken about two months to begin deliveries. It is available in three variants and is priced between Rs. 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs. 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The base version is offered with wire-spoke wheels, while the other two variants get alloys as standard.

The Mavrick 440 marks Hero's foray in the 400-500cc motorcycle space. It is based on the Harley-Davidson X440 and is powered by a 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that produces 27bhp at 6,000rpm and 36Nm at 4,000rpm. It is mated to a six-speed transmission.

Its styling is unlike any other motorcycle we’ve seen from Hero. Under the new bodywork is a steel trellis frame that’s suspended by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers.

The motorcycle rivals the Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Hunter 350, and the Harley-Davidson X440.
