Land Rover Launches New Range Rover Sport At INR 1.64 Crore Ex-Showroom

Tata-owned SUV manufacturer Land Rover India has launched the new Range Rover Sport at a starting price INR 1.64 crore, ex-showroom India. The SUV is currently available for booking.

Available in three trim levels, including Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE and Autobiography, the new luxury off-roader is powered by a six-cylinder 48V mild-hybrid Ingenium diesel engine that delivers a power of 221 kW and 650 Nm torque.

A first edition for the vehicle is also available throughout the first year of production, featuring a specially curated specification, a press release from the company noted.

The new vehicle packs in the Electrical Vehicle Architecture (EVA 2.0) that supports an ecosystem of seamlessly connected technologies, including Software Over The Air (SOTA), and provides remote updates for 63 electronic modules.

The cabin has been modernised by the floating 33.27 cm (13.1) haptic Pivi Pro infotainment system that sits at the centre of the dashboard, controlling functions from navigation to media and vehicle settings. In addition to that, it also gets a digital driver display and Amazon Alexa integration, along with two more 11.4-inch screens in the rear with the rear-seat entertainment package and Meridian Signature Sound System with a 29 speaker system.

It also comes with Land Rover’s Integrated Chassis Control system and Dynamic Air Suspension with switchable-volume air springs and Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control.

Other safety features of the vehicle include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), 3D Surround Camera, front and rear parking sensors, Wade Sensing, ClearSight Ground View and Manoeuvring Lights – Cruise Control and Driver Condition Monitor, among others.

The new Range Rover Sport was globally launched on May 10, 2022. The new alteration of the SUV measures 4,946mm in length with a 2,997mm long wheelbase and 2,209mm in width with front and rear tracks measuring 1,702mm and 1,704mm, respectively and 1,820mm in height.

While the exterior updates to the SUV include slim new LED headlights and new air intakes at the front, the rear is distinguishable with new LED rear lights.
