In a significant move to strengthen the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, Log9 has unveiled Amphion, its newly branded full-stack EV asset management company. This announcement was made at Log9’s annual flagship event, Day Zero 2024, which also saw the launch of NexMile, a battery pack tailored for commercial EVs.

The event was notably attended by Narayana Murthy, ex-CEO and Co-Founder of Infosys, and Sonam Wangchuk, a renowned education reformist and climate activist. Murthy discussed the foundational pillars of building sustainable enterprises, focusing on culture and innovation, while Wangchuk shared his experiences with Log9 batteries in high-altitude applications and emphasised the importance of indigenising technology.

Amphion is set to address the multifaceted challenges of the commercial EV sector, including financing, data analytics, charging infrastructure, and energy efficiency. By offering a suite of integrated services, Amphion aims to enhance asset utilisation, reduce operational downtimes, and ensure cost-effectiveness across the EV ecosystem. This transition supports fleet operators, drivers, and other stakeholders in adopting electric mobility smoothly and effectively.

Alongside Amphion, Log9 introduced NexMile, which features exceptional enhancements such as double the battery life, three times faster charging capabilities, and a realistic range of 120 km per charge. Backed by a five-year warranty, NexMile is designed to meet the rigorous demands of commercial EV operations.

The company also showcased its significant growth in managing a robust portfolio of EV assets. Currently, Amphion is successfully managing around 2,500 EV assets, connecting 600 charging stations, and handling assets worth INR 100 crore for over 150 fleets. The platform has demonstrated impressive monthly growth rates of 20-30% and continues to expand its reach and capabilities.
