Ultraviolette Automotive has unveiled the F77 Mach 2, the latest update in its line-up of high-performance electric motorcycles. Priced at an introductory INR 2.99 lakh for the first 1,000 customers, this launch marks a significant step in making cutting-edge electric motorcycles more accessible to Indian consumers.

The F77 Mach 2 brings several firsts to the market. It features a Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system, the first of its kind globally for electric motorcycles, and introduces 10 levels of Regenerative Braking and Traction Control, enhancing rider safety and vehicle efficiency.

Equipped with a powerful 10.3 kWh battery, the F77 Mach 2 Recon variant boasts an industry-leading 323 km IDC range—the longest of any production electric two-wheeler in Asia. The motorcycle accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 155 kmph, making it India's fastest electric motorcycle.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, commented on the launch, 'The F77 Mach 2 is a leap forward in our quest to revolutionise mobility with sustainable solutions. This model builds on the data and feedback gathered from our customers and is poised to offer an unprecedented electric riding experience.”

Ultraviolette also announced the UV Care MAX program, providing an 800,000 km or 8-year warranty on the battery and drivetrain, underscoring their commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction.

Adding to its appeal, the F77 Mach 2 is equipped with advanced connectivity features, including Anti-Collision Warning Systems, Fall and Towing Alerts, and the innovative Delta Watch, which alerts owners of any unauthorised attempts to tamper with the motorcycle.

The F77 Mach 2 also introduces the VIOLETTE A.I. package, enhancing rider experience with features such as movement alerts, remote lockdown, and daily ride statistics, positioning Ultraviolette at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence with motorcycle technology.

The motorcycle will be available in 15 cities across India, with phased deliveries starting in May 2024. Ultraviolette has curated the F77 Mach 2 to meet diverse consumer preferences, offering nine striking color themes categorised under three distinct personas: Shadow, Laser, and Airstrike.

Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-Founder, elaborated on the technological advancements, 'The F77 Mach 2 incorporates significant enhancements in performance and range, drawing from extensive real-world data.
