Zen Mobility has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Manesar, Gurgaon with a production capacity of 50,000 units annually, dedicated to assembling Zen Micro Pods— its flagship electric vehicles designed for urban commuting.

Spread over 2.5 acres, the newly opened plant is equipped with advanced research and development facilities, focusing on design engineering and product planning. It also includes state-of-the-art testing capabilities like roller testing and dyno testing to maintain high quality and safety standards.

Namit Jain, Founder and CEO of Zen Mobility, said that with an increased order book of 10,000 units, the company is prepared to operate in two shifts to meet the commitments. This facility not only enhances its production capabilities but also aligns with its future goals, including the production of multi-purpose 4-wheeler Zen Maxi Pods.

The new facility is uniquely designed to offer in-house customisation for cargo box solutions, catering to various sectors like e-commerce, food and grocery delivery, and pharmaceutical logistics. This capability allows it to meet the specific needs of urban logistics with tailored solutions, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in fleet management.

The company has already formed partnerships with major players in food delivery, grocery delivery, and e-commerce to deploy its vehicles across more than ten cities in India. These collaborations are set to improve income opportunities for delivery riders and aid fleet operators in managing their operations more efficiently.
