Second edition of India's largest automotive consumer survey to understand buying behavior of consumers and preference among Millennials and GenZ

After rolling out India’s largest, most widespread, and deep-rooted automotive consumer surveys in 2021, Mobility Outlook has organised the second edition of the Indian Automotive Consumer Canvass (IACC) 2022.

Held on March 25, 2022, between 11 am and 12 noon, the IACC 2022, powered by Axis Bank and supported by CarTrade, CarWale and BikeWale, focused on assessing the buying behaviour and preference changes among vehicle buying consumers. 

Corroborated by its validation partner, Frost & Sullivan, the findings of this nationwide survey will be released at the panel discussion, participated by several senior stakeholders from India’s automotive industry, including Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director - Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, C S Vigneshwar, Secretary, FADA, Sumit Bali, Group Executive & Head – Retail Lending & Payments, Axis Bank, Kaushik Madhavan, Independent Consultant, Frost & Sullivan and Banwari Lal Sharma, CEO – Consumer Business, CarTrade Tech. The panel was moderated by Deepangshu Dev Sarmah, Editor, Mobility Outlook.

The eminent panellist deliberated and discussed how the COVID-19 pandemic and the related slowdown in vehicle sales have impacted overall buying behaviour among consumers.

The participants also got a chance to listen to and interact with captains of the industry, witness the deliberations of the key stakeholders from multiple industry sectors and learn about the in-depth analysis of the findings from the survey. In addition, they got to know what consumers are thinking about their vehicle buying choices and got a chance to ask questions to the panellists.

IACC 2021 garnered over 2,02,000 responses in about two weeks, and in the current edition, it has recorded 2.56 lakh responses within eight days from people located across Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in the country.
