ADVIK Acquires Aceleron Energy To Revolutionise EV & ESS Markets mobility outlook

ADVIK has announced the acquisition of business assets from Aceleron Energy Ltd, a UK-based pioneer in advanced lithium-ion battery technology. Executed through its UK subsidiary, Advik Technologies Limited, this acquisition heralds a new era for ADVIK, integrating Aceleron's battery technology into its extensive portfolio. Aceleron Energy is celebrated for its unique approach to Li-ion battery manufacturing, offering the world's first serviceable, upgradeable, and scalable lithium-ion batteries, a game-changer in the realm of energy storage solutions.

Aditya Bhartia, Managing Director of ADVIK, shared his enthusiasm about the new venture, highlighting its potential to drive the transition to clean energy. 'This acquisition is a pivotal step in our journey towards embracing clean, innovative technologies that support a sustainable future. With Aceleron's advanced battery solutions, we are poised to make a significant impact in the EV and ESS sectors,' stated Bhartia.

The integration of Aceleron's assets into ADVIK's operations is expected to bring a host of benefits. Notably, the technology acquired is designed to disrupt traditional Li-ion battery production with its non-welded, serviceable structure, promoting longevity and reducing environmental impact by facilitating battery reuse and recycling. This aligns with the global shift towards a circular economy, where products are designed to be reused and recycled, and minimising waste.

ADVIK's strategic acquisition is set to expand its product offerings, enhancing its capabilities in the burgeoning fields of e-mobility and energy storage. The company foresees significant growth opportunities in the electrification of various mobility sectors, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers, as well as in stationary energy storage applications. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for ADVIK, propelling the company into the forefront of the Electric Vehicle (EV) and Energy Storage System (ESS) industries.
