AI Engineering Services Ltd. (AIESL) has announced the successful completion of its first C-Check on the Kuwait Airways Boeing B777-300ER widebody jetliner, which can seat 334 passengers.
The aircraft is now ready for re-delivery to the airline and is the first foreign aircraft to undergo MRO work with AIESL. The aircraft was inducted into AIESL’s MRO facility at the Mihan SEZ in Nagpur on September 15 for the ‘Heavy Maintenance’ check.
Kuwait Airways operates a widebody fleet of Boeing B777-300ERs and Airbus A330-800neo, A330-200 along with a narrowbody fleet of A320neos.
AIESL also recently announced that it had received authorisation from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to perform 15000 FH/5500 FC/36MO Boeing MPD task, which includes modification, structural inspection, and repair on Boeing’s new B 737 MAX single-aisle jetliners.
