Amo Electric Bikes Launches Jaunty Plus With Sales Starting From 15 February

The high-speed scooter features a brushless DC motor and is powered by a 60 V/40 Ah lithium battery with a range of 120 kms on a single charge.

The new age EV manufacturer, Amo Electric Bikes, on Monday launched the Jaunty Plus at INR 110,460, ex-showroom, with sales starting from 15 February.

The brushless DC motor on the high-speed scooter is powered by a 60 V/40 Ah lithium battery that provides a range of 120km on a single charge. Customers can pick between a fixed or portable battery pack with a four-hour charge period, a press release from the company said.

On the features side, the e2W comes with a cruise control switch, electronic assisted braking system (EABS), anti-theft alarm, telescopic fork suspension, side stand sensor, central locking, front disc brake, DRL lights, mobile USB charging port, and an engine kill switch among others.

Available in five colours - red-black, grey-black, blue-black, white-black, and yellow-black, the high-speed scooter comes with a three-year warranty.

The company claims to have a network of 140 dealerships across 13 states and two UTs. Further, it plans to expand its network to 300 dealerships by the first half of FY23.
