APFT Makes First Training Sortie From Kalaburagi In Karnataka

At APFT, cadets can obtain their Commercial Pilot Licence, Multi-Engine Rating, Instrument Rating, Assistant Flight Instructor Rating, Flight Instructor Rating, and Private Pilot Licence.

The Asia Pacific Flight Training Academy (APFT) has made its first training flight from Kalaburagi Airport in Karnataka. This was tweeted from the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s official twitter handle @MoCA_GoI. 

APFT had entered into an agreement in June 2021 with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to create a Flight Training Organisation (FTO) at Kalaburagi Airport on Design, Build, Operate, Maintain and Transfer (DBOMT) basis for a period of 25 years. 

APFT is a Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved FTO, based at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) & Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad and has been established to provide world-class pilot training to aspiring cadets. 

At APFT, cadets can obtain their Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane), Multi-Engine Rating (Aeroplane), Instrument Rating, Assistant Flight Instructor Rating (Aeroplane), Flight Instructor Rating (Aeroplane), and Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane).
