Audi India To Increase Prices By Up To 2% mobility outlook

Audi India today announced a price revision of up to 2% across its entire model line-up, effective from June 01, 2024. The decision comes in response to the increasing costs of inputs and transportation, which have impacted the automotive industry globally.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, explained the necessity of the price adjustment, stating, “The increase in input costs necessitates a corresponding adjustment in our pricing structure to maintain sustainable growth both for Audi India and our dealer partners. We are committed to minimising the impact on our customers and ensuring that our premium products continue to offer exceptional value.”

This price revision aims to offset the rising costs while continuing to deliver the high standards of quality and luxury that Audi customers expect. The increase is modest in comparison to the actual rise in operational costs, reflecting Audi's strategy to absorb as much of the cost pressure as possible.

Despite the challenging economic environment, Audi India reported growth in its latest fiscal year. The brand sold 7,027 units in FY23/24, marking an overall growth of 33%. Additionally, Audi’s pre-owned car business, Audi Approved: plus, saw a remarkable 50% increase in the same period, underscoring the brand’s strengthening position in the Indian luxury car market.

As Audi India navigates through the pressures of increased production costs, the company remains focused on innovation and sustainability. This price revision is part of a broader strategy to ensure that Audi continues to offer cutting-edge technology and luxurious driving experiences without compromising on its commitments to quality and environmental consciousness.
