The leading trade fair for the automotive service industry, Automechanika Frankfurt, has announced the expansion of its international network of associations by entering into a cooperation with the US American Association of Diesel Specialists (ADS).

Olaf Mußhoff, Director, Automechanika Frankfurt, said, “This further underscores Automechanika Frankfurt’s significance as an international industry meeting place, and it is especially important for us as it helps us achieve our goal of expanding our network in the growing US market.”

Based in the USA, the Association of Diesel Specialists represents companies worldwide that specialise in providing services for injection systems in the diesel industry.

According to a press release from Automechanika Frankfurt, the association is taking advantage of this to get all of its members together in the same place following an extended break caused by the pandemic and to establish new contacts in the European market, while many of the association’s members are exhibitors at Automechanika Frankfurt.

Automechanika Frankfurt noted that the association’s members are independent workshops specialising in diesel fuel injection, drive-in, governor and turbocharger service, and schools offering training programmes for diesel mechanics.

It added that the members also include original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), as well as the manufacturers and retailers of replacement parts and other related equipment.

Scott D Parker, CEO, ADS, said, “By working together with Automechanika, ADS will be able to provide our many international members a unique networking opportunity in Frankfurt.”

Interestingly, on September 15, 2022, the association will hold a reception for its members under the motto ‘ADS Get Re-Acquainted’.
