Bajaj has finally said that it will launch its first-ever CNG bike in June. This news was confirmed by the top honcho of the company.

Over the last few weeks, there have been rumours about the launch date of this interesting motorcycle but there wasn’t anything concrete. While the company was always tightlipped about its actual launch date, there were fully camouflaged prototypes that were being tested on public roads. From the spy shots, it is clear that this motorcycle which is rumoured to be called ‘Bruzer’ will be a commuter motorcycle. The company may be targeting the 100-160cc segment with this motorcycle.

As of now, there are barely any details on the engine and the specifications, but there have been some leaked patent pictures of the bike that show the CNG tank placed below the seat. The size of this tank is currently unknown, but expect the bike to have a range of around 200-250kms in one full CNG tank. The overall feature list is likely to be basic to keep costs in check.

This Bajaj CNG bike won’t have any direct competitors at the time of the launch. But depending on the displacement of the engine and the price point, there will be a few bikes from Hero MotoCorp and TVS that will go against the Bruzer.
