Aequs Infra, at the ongoing Paris Airshow, has announced that Bikar Aerospace GmbH, a German supplier of aerospace materials, will establish an advanced Aerospace Service Centre (ASC) at its Belagavi Aerospace Cluster (BAC) in Karnataka. BAC hosts over 30 manufacturing units at the campus.

Aravind Melligeri, Chairman & CEO, Aequs, said, “BAC hosts a vertically integrated manufacturing ecosystem with co-located capabilities that deliver an end-to-end manufacturing value stream.”

The new ASC will further expand Bikar's market presence and strengthen its position as a premier international supplier of aerospace materials. It will provide storage and customised processing of semi-finished products made of aluminium, titanium, super alloys and other aerospace metals from the new centre.

Alex Bikar, CEO, Bikar Aerospace GmbH, said the move signified the company’s commitment to providing exceptional services to its clients while strengthening its position in the aerospace market. The new location is slated to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2024.
