Bridgestone India presently operates two state-of-the-art plants in India, one in Indore and the other in Pune. The company is currently investing INR 600 crore in capacity and technology upgrades.

Bridgestone India’s Indore plant marked the production of its 100 millionth tyre. This milestone coincides with Bridgestone India's 25th anniversary of operations in the country.

Established in 1998, Bridgestone India commenced its operations, with the Indore plant becoming operational. A press release from Bridgestone India stated that the production of the 100 millionth tyre at the Indore facility underscores the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge Japanese tyre technology to the Indian market.

Stefano Sanchini, Managing Director of Bridgestone India, said, 'Completing 100 million tyres from our Indore plant is a major milestone for Bridgestone India, and it comes at a perfect time, coinciding with our silver jubilee.”
