Surat-based EV logistic startup EVIFY announced that it has raised $100,000 in a seed round led by We Founder Circle.

According to a press release from the company, the funds will primarily be used for the expansion of its operations and team building alongside being directed towards technological development.

Devrishi Arora, Co-Founder and CEO, EVIFY, said, “We have been working on adding technological advancements into our delivery operations such as geofencing, BMS, and fleet management to revolutionise the unorganised logistics market.”

Gaurav VK Singhvi, Co-founder, We Founder Circle, said, “As the awareness around the concept spreads, the brand will witness exponential growth. It is not just an investment but a responsibility to support brands like EVIFY.”

Besides, the startup has also partnered with several other industry players, including Hero Electric, BigBasket, and Swiggy, the release said.

It added that in Surat the company and Swiggy have teamed up to deliver food orders using EVs while the MoU with Hero Electric ensures the deployment of about 1,000 electric scooters over the next two years.

The startup plans to use these EVs in Surat along with expanding its operations to Ahmedabad and Vadodara in the coming months, the release noted.

Additionally, it also aims to have a fleet of about 2,000 vehicles by the end of March 2023, the release added.
