GT-Force, a new Indian EV start-up, unveiled three new electric two-wheelers at the EV India Expo 2021 recently held at Greater Noida, including the GT drive, GT Drive Pro and an electric motorcycle prototype.

The motorbike is expected to be launched in the market in H2 CY22.

The GT Drive is a high-speed scooter with a claimed range of 150 km on a single charge, and a top speed of 60 kmph. It comes fitted with a lithium-ion battery and features three driving modes – economy, standard, and turbo. The scooter also has a cruise control system, the company said.

On the other hand, the GT Drive Pro in the slow speed category is designed to meet the needs of short-distance travellers. This scooter is available with lead acid and lithium-ion battery options, and is claimed to have a range of 75 km and a top speed of 25 kmph.

Rajesh Saitya, Co-Founder & COO, GT-Force said the start-up is expanding its product line in a way that it addresses the travel challenges of people one-by-one. “Our slow speed products can easily cater to short distance daily travel of children, women and families,” he said.

Meanwhile, GT-Force aims to expand its network to 150 distributors by the end of the current financial year. The company is currently present in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan with a network of more than 100 dealerships across 80 cities.

Mukesh Taneja, Co-Founder & CEO, GT-Force said the company is working towards making the product available in every nook and corner of the country.
