The Japanese two-wheeler maker, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, on Wednesday, announced that it has crossed the 30-lakh exports mark in its 21 years of operations.

In 2021, the company established a new Overseas Business Expansion business vertical and expanded its global exports footprint to developed markets like the United States, Japan & Europe.

Additionally, HMSI has also commenced manufacturing global engines from its fourth factory at Vithalapur, Gujarat, a release from the maker stated.

Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “As we make further inroads into developed markets, our reinstated focus on exports expansion takes HMSI one step closer to become a ‘Manufacturing Hub for the World’.”

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director - Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “Led by Dio Scooter, we are expanding our export portfolio including both scooters & motorcycles.”
