Honda India Foundation (HIF) has inaugurated Honda Samajik Vikas Kendra on Tuesday at Naurangpur, Haryana. 

The skill centre will be giving training for assistant beauty therapists, retail sales associates, general duty assistants, warehouse associates, automotive sales assistants, and self-employed tailors. The sports centre will have two badminton courts, a table tennis table, and a boxing ring.

Atsushi Ogata, Chairman, Honda India Foundation, Takuya Tsumura, Co-Chairman, Honda India Foundation and other dignitaries were present at the centre's inauguration. HIF also launched its official website and inaugurated healthcare training and employment centres in reputed hospitals across 20 locations pan India.

Ogata said, “Honda envisions a dream to build a sustainable society and we are committed to realise it with all our sincere efforts. Our aim is to create healthy and happy lives by strengthening them with skills, better health, and confidence to explore their full potential. Being dedicated to our community marks yet another step towards transforming the lives of the community through better medical facilities, job-oriented vocational courses, and better sports & yoga facilities. This multi-skilling center at Naurangpur will bring people one step closer to their dreams and aspirations.”
