HMSI Launches Limited Edition Dio Featuring Camouflaged Graphics

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the new Dio Sports limited edition featuring camouflage graphics and a sporty red rear suspension. The OEM plans to retail a limited number of the new Dio scooter and has started accepting bookings for the same on its website.

The brand retails the new scooter at INR 68,317 for the Standard variant and INR 73,317 for the Deluxe variant. Strontium Silver Metallic with Black and Sports Red with Black are the two new colours for the scooter in India.

Probably targeted toward younger Indians, Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, HMSI, is of the view that the new Dio scooter's sporty vibe & trendy looks will delight the consumers in the country. He said, 'The new Dio Sports is a perfect amalgamation of youth & style in refreshing color options.'

The new vehicle is powered by the same engine that hauls the current model. This 110cc PGM-FI engine features Enhanced Smart Power (eSP). It also has telescopic suspension, integrated dual function switch, external fuel lid, passing switch, and side stand indicator (with engine cut-off). Among other features, the scooter comes equipped with Honda’s Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equaliser and 3-step adjustable rear suspension along with a 3-Step Eco Indicator for fuel efficiency.

HMSI sold 443,643 units in the month of July 2022. The OEM's domestic sales for the month registered 18% growth over last year's same period, which stood at 340,420 units.
