Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has reported monthly domestic sales of 9,400 units in October 2023, which is 1.4% lower than previous October’s 9,543 units.
The month of October witnessed a surge in consumer demand, particularly during the festive season, as Mr. Yuichi Murata, Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd., pointed out, 'There is a strong demand during the festival period with incredible response for our new model Honda Elevate from our customers. We are actively working to meet the strong demand for Elevate.”
HCIL's export numbers for October 2023 stood at 3,683 units, highlighting its presence in international markets as well.
A press release from HCIL stated that with the festive season celebrations of Dhanteras and Diwali on the horizon, the company is poised to further strengthen its bond with customers and enhance its footprint in the Indian market.
