Honda Cars launches the updated Amaze ahead of the festive season

The new Amaze has some minor design changes and technological advances. Externally, the new model receives a new front grille that matches the other Honda models, new chrome door handles with touch sensor-based smart entry system, advanced LED projector headlights with integrated signature daytime running lights and LED rear light treatment with combination lights.

Honda Cars India on Wednesday announced the launch of the updated Amaze at a starting price point of INR 6,32,000 (ex-showroom Delhi)

The compact sedan will compete with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Ford Aspire.

The existing powertrain will power the new model with no change to the output levels. The new Amaze will get CVT in S and VX grades in Petrol and VX grade in Diesel.

The new Amaze has some minor design changes and technological advances. Externally, the new model receives a new front grille that matches the other Honda models, new chrome door handles with touch sensor-based smart entry system, advanced LED projector headlights with integrated signature daytime running lights and LED rear light treatment with combination lights. The new model also gets a new set of two-tone 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The car's interior gets satin silver ornamentation on dashboard and door trims, satin silver garnish on steering wheel, chrome plated AC vent knobs, leather boot for manual transmission shift lever and trunk lid lining. The seats also get a new stitching pattern.

In terms of technological advancement, the new Amaze comes with a rear multi-view camera with guidelines and new automatic headlight control with light sensor and already existing safety features like dual SRS airbags for driver and front passenger and ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution.  

Apart from this, the new Meteoroid Grey has also been added to the car's colour range.
