Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled Activa 2023, its first OBD2-compliant two-wheeler, ahead of the deadline.
The OEM introduced the Honda Smart (H-Smart) key with the new Activa launch. The Ex-showroom prices of the new scooter start at INR 74,536 for the standard variant, INR 77,036 for the Deluxe variant, and INR 80,537 for the H-Smart key variant.
Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, HMSI, said, “Activa has reactivated the scooter market and has remained one of the top-selling two-wheelers for more than a decade now. It has undergone multiple avatars for meeting the ever-changing expectations of our customers, and today we unveil the new OBD2 compliant Activa 2023 with a host of segment-first features offering more value to the customers.”
Honda Smart key features smart find, smart unlock, smart start, and smart safe features. It also comes equipped with a unique double-lid fuel opening system for accessing the 18L under-seat storage space. The OEM will offer this smart key with its other two-wheelers as well.
